BidZillion – Where Everyone Is A Winner …
BidZillion is a unique auction based shopping portal where the users get to buy a range of products at an unbelievably low price. The concept is to have bidders compete amongst themselves such that the winner, or the person left standing last, gets an opportunity to buy the auctioned product at up to 99% discounted price!!
All this is made possible by cutting edge technology solutions and an innovative business model where everyone is a winner. BidZillion intends to broaden its horizons within the ecommerce domain in order to bring the best value deals to its users.
Bidding on BidZillion is straightforward. Just follow these four simple steps:
1. Register for free
2. Charge-up your account with bids
3. Pick an auction
4. Bid and Win or Buy!
To begin with, the user has to sign up for free registration on BidZillion.com.
After successfully completing the registration, the user can proceed to purchase the bid pack of his choice. Bid price ranges from 50 cents – 75 cents based on the pack you choose. Once the user has purchased a bid pack, the corresponding number of bids is credited to his account.
He can now proceed to the live auctions page where he can place bids on his desired products. Bidders have the choice of placing single bids, or, using an electronic bid assistant called the “BidMan”.
For every auction there is a product listed on the site with the details of its Retail Price, Current Price, Time Remaining and Current Bidder highlighted alongside it. Each time a user places a bid on the product, the cost of the product is incremented by 1cent and the time remaining for expiry is increased by 15 seconds. Bidding continues to take place till the ‘time remaining’ becomes 0, signifying that there is no more competition left for the product.
The user who had placed the last bid will be declared the winner and will get the chance to buy the product at the closing price of the auction (winners save around 90%, on an average, when compared with the retail price). As a reward for persistence, we refund all the bids placed by a user towards winning a particular auction*, as they say, ‘Winner Takes It All’.
BidZillion offers a barrage of unique advantages to its users in order to make shopping on BidZillion a fun experience. Below we have listed some of our prominent features
1. Unique BidMan Tool – BidMan is your own personal assistant on BidZillion. We understand that it can be difficult for you to stay glued to your system throughout the duration of an auction, and yet you do not want to lose out just because you were not there physically during the dying moments of an auction. BidMan, a unique bidding tool, is the solutions to all such problems. All you have to do is enter the number of bids you want to place for an auction, along with the ‘current price’ range of your choice. Your BidMan will ensure that your bid is placed on the auction of your choice for your preferred price range. BidMan will not let you lose unless it runs out of bids or the actual ‘current price’ does not fall under your customized ‘current price’ range.
2. Free of cost shipping – We understand that hidden charges like shipping etc go a long way in spoiling the user’s online shopping experience. In order to counter this, BidZillion offers a unique advantage to its users: Free shopping of won product to any part of USA*.
3. Bids Refunds *– As an appreciation of persistence and determination, we refund the bids placed by a user towards a particular auction (bids are refunded at 50 cents per bid) if the user wants to buy the same product. We want the winner and participants to have an ecstatic and memorable shopping experience.
4. Referral program – In order to reward our users who spread the word about BidZillion and help grow the community of happy buyers, we have introduced the referral program. As a part of this program, any of our existing members can go to the referral section under the ‘My BidZillion’ tab and get their personalized referral link. If a new user joins through a referral link, and buys any bid pack, the referee of that user get 5 free bids in his account and not only this referred user will also receive 5 free bids in addition to 4 free bids which is the joining bonus.
5. Added Advantages – In order to avoid a situation where a user accidently bids more than once successively, hence wasting his precious bids, BidZillion has a unique safety feature that does not allow the user to place successive bids to out bid himself.
Add to Watchlist, another user centric feature of BidZillion, allows the users to follow the products of their choice. Users can add as many auction as they like in their Watchlist, enabling them to closely monitor the products of their choice.
You can buy bids by logging on to BidZillion and going to ‘Buy Bids’ section. You can pay using your Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking or Cash Card

The cost of a bid varies for different ‘BidPacks’. Bids range from 50 cents to 75 cents per bid and are available in BidPacks of 20, 50, 100, 250, 500 and 1000 bids.
We are often asked the secret behind winning an auction on BidZillion.
While there’s no "sure-shot" winning strategy, but here are a few tips to help you get started, as well as a few of the traps that novice bidders sometimes fall into.
Place your bid late
Watch the countdown and try to place your bid in the final ten seconds. If the timer has reached this point, you know the auction will end with you as the winner unless another bid is placed.
Start with the cheapest products
Although you can get some incredible bargains on our most expensive items, they also tend to be the most competitive auctions, attracting hundreds of bidders. Our cheaper products tend to have fewer bidders, meaning you’re much more likely to win.
Use the BidMan to your advantage
The BidMan is a powerful tool, if you get the timing right you can scare off other bidders by placing one. Nobody likes to see their bids matched over and over again by your all conquering BidMan, you might just persuade them to give up and try again next time.
We’ve noticed that users tend to set the ‘Bid To’ value of their BidMan to a round number, so watch out for this and you might be able to snap up a bargain by simply clicking on the “Bid” button when a BidMan has just finished.
Keep an eye on what other bidders are up to
You can see the details of the last ten bids placed: try to work out who’s bidding and when they’re bidding. It’s all about timing, so maybe you can work out when the right time is to jump in and grab the lot.
Scout out the competition
Look and see how many different bidders have recently bid on an auction. You’re more likely to win if there are fewer bidders interested in the item than if there are lots of competing bidders.
Bid at the right time of day
The number of bidders varies throughout the day – smart bidders can use this to pick up bargains by bidding when others are busy having breakfast or taking the dog for a walk.
Fine-tune your BidMan
If you use the BidMan to bid on your behalf, it’s best not to set your ‘Bid To’ value to a round number – other bidders will be watching out for this (see above!).
Firstly, congratulations - well done on winning the auction!
Confirming your win
Once the auction has ended, you’ll be automatically transferred to a page where we’ll ask you to confirm that you still want the item and explain what to do next. You will be told how to pay the final amount. We’ll also contact you via e-mail to explain how to do all this. Just remember to confirm that you still want the item within 7 days of the end of the auction. If you still haven’t confirmed within 21 days, we’ll assume that you’ve changed your mind and no longer want to buy the item.
Paying for the item you won
Just as for your bids, you can pay for your item by Paypal, or Credit Cards. Please make sure that you pay within 7 days of the end of the auction. We’ll confirm you payment via e-mail and arrange for the item to be shipped to you. If the item hasn’t arrived within 14 days of our confirmation of your payment, please contact us on our Toll Free Number 1800-OUR-BIDZ.
Live auctions are auctions where the countdown has started running. Future auctions are planned to start at some time in the future, so don't yet have a countdown that's running.
Here at Bidzillion we offer the customer to take advantage of using the bids they have spent on an auction towards the buy now on the retail price. The price per bid that will be deducted off the retail price is 50 cents. We do not permit any customer to use bids spent on one auction and apply it to another. Bids bought are non refundable at any time.
As a gesture towards our users, we offer a unique 'Free Delivery' feature wherein the won product is shipped to the user free of cost *.
* conditions apply
Delivery times vary for the different items that we auction. Most of our items are shipped directly from our suppliers, with the majority of orders arriving within 14 days of payment. We’ll let you know as soon as your item has been dispatched.
If you still haven’t received your product and it’s more than 14 days since you paid for your item, please contact our customer service team. Most of our items are shipped directly from our suppliers and will be sent soon after you have paid.
Firstly, we’re sorry that you have received an item that you are not happy with. Most of our winners have no problems with the goods, but occasionally an item might not work or may get damaged in transit. If this has happened, our aim is to solve your problem as quickly as possible.
It can sometimes be useful to check the manufacturer’s website or call their helpline – many of the most common problems are easily solved without having to return the product.
In the event that the product you received is faulty, please contact us and we’ll tell you what to do next. Please, let us know the auction ID and the serial number of the product, as these help us to deal with your problem more quickly.
We work with a range of different suppliers who are happy to help identify any problems and to replace faulty items, if necessary.
Please don’t send the item back to us without contacting us – this is likely to mean that it takes longer to replace your item. If your product does need replacing, we’ll contact you and let you know what to do.
We want you to enjoy the item you won, but if, for whatever reason you decide that you do not want the item, please get in touch with our customer service team and we will then see what we can do in your case. When you contact us, please make sure that you let us know:
Please note that at max, we can only offer a refund on the final auction price of the item you won. We cannot offer you a refund on the cost of the bids that you placed on that auction.
The warranties provided on goods may vary depending on the type of item that you win. Please contact our customer service team if you have any queries about the warranties or guarantees that apply to an item that you’ve won or bought
You can participate in BidZillion auctions with nearly all PCs that allow you to access the internet:

Very occasionally, users tell us that even though they bid before the countdown ended, their bids did not get placed and the auction ended. In these instances, the most likely explanation is the so-called "Internet lag times". These are time-delays in the transfer of data between your PC and our servers. Mostly those delays (lags) occur because single parts of the internet connection are overloaded.
This, unfortunately, is a general problem with the internet.
There are a few ways of helping minimize this problem:
We're very sorry if your bid wasn't registered by the BidZillion servers in time. To be absolutely certain that you avoid the problem of "Internet lag times" don't leave your bidding until the last second, or use the BidMan to place your bids.
BidZillion is a a very complex piece of technology, and at times it is possible that you may notice that the timer has stopped working. It can be due to several reasons, including slow internet connection or a problem in the back end of the site.
In cases where the timer has stopped due to a problem with the site, either there is a maximum delay of 10 minutes before the timer starts again or the bids laced by users towards that auction are refunded.

Downtime, or outage, is an occasional and unforeseeable problem with the internet, and means that bids cannot be placed during this short period when we are offline. If we experience downtime at any point, we automatically add ten minutes on to the auction end time, so that our bidders are not left at a disadvantage. It is impossible to place any bids whilst the system is experiencing downtime, so any bids attempted during this period will not be debited from your account. If this situation does occur, we advise you to refresh your screen regularly, either by pressing F5 or the refresh button on your browser.
The sudden increase in the timer and the current price is a normal behavior when multiple users have placed their BidMan on a particular auction. In such cases, all bids available in the clashing BidMan’s are placed at once resulting in an increase in remaining time and the current price.

BidMan is a great tool that you can use to win auctions. We understand that you cannot always be in front of your computer, watching auctions on which you would like to bid. The BidMan can be told to place bids for you when you cannot be there yourself. It will place bids for you on the auction that you like at the price that you set and it will bid as many times as you want.
To set up your BidMan, click on an auction you would like to win. On the right side, you will see the "BidMan" box. This is where you tell the BidMan how you would like it to bid.
To set the amount range you have to specify the ‘Bid From $’ amount at which you want BidMan to start bidding and the ‘Bid To $’ amount at which the BidMan will stop bidding. You can also specify the maximum number of bids that you want your BidMan to use.
How does the BidMan know when to bid?
If there is just one BidMan booked to bid in an auction, the bids will be placed automatically within your range at any point within the final seven seconds.
If there are two or more BidMan bidding against each other, all the consecutive BidMan bids are placed immediately, and the price and countdown increases with each BidMan bid placed.
The BidMan will place bids for your specified price range randomly when there is between 7 and 1 seconds left on the auction.
If your from $ amount is not reached before the auction ends, your BidMan will not be triggered. Your BidMan's reserved bids will be returned to your bid balance.
It is very easy to set up a BidMan. A BidMan can help you win an auction when you cannot be present by the computer at the time when the auction is about to end. Also some people like to use BidMan’s as their weapons to scare off their competition.
No one but you knows that you have BidMan on your side, patiently waiting until the auction is about to end to place a strategic last-minute bid for you.
To set up a BidMan:
BidMan is a very powerful tool that can help you with winning auctions.
The auction can end before your minimum BidMan range has been reached. The BidMan can only join the auction within the given price range. This ensures that we offer the lowest prices for our products. All unused bids will be returned to your account.
Unused bids will be returned to your account.
This can happen when your BidMan isn't able to use all of your bids within the given price range or when the auction is won at a lower price than what you instructed your BidMan to bid between.
All unused bids are returned to your account as soon as the auction ends
